Extended Resources would, at best, be available to students earlier in the morning before regularly scheduled classes and/or after school. When Extended Resources overlaps or is interruptive of scheduled classes, students often miss vital information, even when specific assignments from those classes are distributed to Extended Resource instructors for distribution to students. Additionally, time is limited during regularly scheduled classes for assisting students.

Making the term Extended Resources true to its meaning would in fact require extending or opening Extended Resource labs at least an hour before and/or after normal school hours, an hour being the normal length of the course. This would also help instructors to earn a full 40-hour (or more) work week, while assuring that no students are left behind…
