Fundamental law should be a core or requisite course for grade school students. The course would be designed to introduce students to basics of the law that the common citizen should be expected to know. It would also introduce students to courtroom etiquette, including verbal and written rhetorical strategies (a similar course could be regularly or periodically offered in public libraries for the general public). The essential purpose of the course would be to dissuade criminal activity amongst students and communities and to inform students and the general public of basic legal and other rights.
