Pharmacy waiting areas are ideal localities for exercise equipment, like steppers, recumbent bicycles, etc. Customers would be privileged to use of the equipment while waiting for anywhere up to an hour or more for prescriptions to be filled.

This would complement the blood pressure monitors that are available for public use in pharmacies; and the kinesthetic equipment could optionally be linked to an online tracking site, i.e. those that are already connected to pharmacy blood pressure monitors, and which record customer readings during each visit or period of use.

Exercise equipment should also be placed in hospitals and clinics to encourage visitor recovery and public health. It could also be incorporated into other types of public establishments for the stated reasons, or as a form of preventive healthcare.
