Cable/internet companies should market, deliver, and install televisions—including Smart TVs—and other relevant equipment/electronics with their services in the same manner that phone companies primarily market telephones and other synonymous equipment.

Too, similar to telephone companies, cable companies could offer upgrades of specific brands of televisions and other electronics, like tablets and mobile phones, etc. that they would market, and allow customers to trade in old televisions, etc. for credit towards the newer.

Customers would really enjoy the convenience of not having to walk into a store to purchase and carry a bulky television home and install and/or program it themselves. Cable technicians would deliver and install ordered equipment.

Customers would be capable of financing* the televisions and other electronics via monthly installments that would be attached to their cable bills (*Cable companies could additionally charge for delivery and installation or mounting of televisions, if necessary)…

Programs of the sort would be highly successful and cable companies would see an increase in cable and internet services in synonymy with the marketing of televisions, tablets, phones, et cetera…
